Now, before we headed off to the Gridiron Glory Exhibit that was well thought out and just amazing I want to talk about what we did first on are special tour and that is to talk about #LiquidNitrogen . Liquid Nitrogen is not something that I have ever experimented with or had to privilege to experience up close. Well, Today was a first for me and I am not going to sugar coat it – I was a little scared someone was going to get hurt since we had little one close to the stuff. I was very impressed with how Donia worked with Us and the children. Informing the children that we could get hurt if we did not pay attention to what she was doing and if we did not listen. Their was Nitro Clouds Made on the floor and Poor, Poor Scottie we were all so scared since he was a curious dog that does not listen. Just take a look at what happened to Scottie in the video below.
After seeing what happened to Scottie, we took a short walk into the Gridiron Glory Exhibit and with me not being a football junkie I was really impressed at the extent of how much work was put into an Exhibit. My dad Abel and Nathan both love football in the house just like Josiah does. In the beginning of the Exhibit it starts off with the “beginning of football time”. How it started if you so will, what they wore and how the game was. From looking at how the games started with no people of color playing football to what how the game has change with finding many on a single team the hero yesterday has paved the way for the players of today.
While I did enjoy learning about how the game has started and seeing some fantastic finishes of some games replayed. I also was very pleased to see that Football heroes from are Arizona Backyard were featured as well. While so many people knock the Arizona Cardinals down for how they play. Yet, their are many that are in the hall of fame because they are get Football players. They were in their own section called Fantastic Hometown Heroes and I just loved how they showcased the section off.
With all this learning we have to have some fun too. While I was looking around the Exhibit and learning about football Josiah was off working on his passes. Yes, You heard right he was working out his arm passing the football in the training section. I was amazing that he is very good for a boy that does not play football. Just take a look below at him throwing 3 footballs in to the training cage.
In the training section they also had a kicking section and I was even worse at kick the football then I was at throwing it. It was so sad. I had fun trying on the helmet – we had to both try on the bigger of the helmets since are heads were to big. We are really smart, what can I say.
Josiah also suited up with some Shoulder Pad to protect his muscles.
We had such a blast experiencing the Exhibit and I know that my Dad & Nate would have loved coming to this exhibit too. So I know that you want to come to the Exhibit here in Phoenix, Arizona too. So guess what we are giving away tickets to the Exhibit !!
